Geotools
Geotools are a set of tools you can use to measure distance or area (Update: As of now 25/12/11, a user can only measure distance). You access them by selecting Geotools on the main WikiMapia menu. A window will open on the right side of your screen where you select which tool to use. It's really easy, you just click on the map to mark the points of the route or area you are interested in and the results are shown instantly in the window.
