From User Guide: The Main Screen, click on the "Edit map" menu item and then the "Ferry" sub-item. If you are viewing a coastal ferry port, you may see some ferry lines highlighted with red boxes in the style of place outlines. You can edit an existing ferry or add a new line. See the documentation for the other linear features for more information.
