Privileged User
The term used for this special role is now Advanced User. Note that User Guide: User levels describes the current ranking system and that the rest of this page is somewhat obsolete. Avanced Users (AU) act as "Moderators for the site and in this role have the right to discipline Users.
Obsolete
A privileged user (or Advanced User, User Lever 2, UL2) is a member of WikiMapia in good standing and is given additional tools and responsibilities to take care of WikiMapia. All UL2 members began as Registered Users members at some point (with the exception of site administrators). By means of their quality of contributions to WikiMapia and goodwill towards other members, some members are "promoted".
Promotion to Level 2 is not done automatically, but done by the administrators mostly on the recommendations of the other Level 2 users at the forum.
