Semi-protection

Semi-protection is the act of protecting a place from vandalism.
A place that is semi-protected cannot be edited by an unregistered user or a newly registered user. Ranked Level 1 users, Level 2 users, and administrators can still edit a semi-protected place. However, only Level 2 users and administrators have the ability to enable or disable semi-protection for an article. This is done by checking/unchecking the semi-protection checkbox in the edit page of a place tag.
