Gyong La

Gyong La, at 5700m, is a Saltoro Range pass near the line-of-control between India and Pakistan. It has been held by the Indian army since the 1980's despite a persistent internet myth originating from a false www.globalsecurity report. Pakistan controls the lower parts of the glaciers about 5 km to the west.
