  • This is the Village with All Roman Catholics and All Chowdaries Except one or two families of Hindu's. But Most of the people stays in Cities and Out of Country, that is why, It's population is too less. Population More of less: 1000
  • Thurakapalem is a very good and an ideal village which sticks on to Indian tradition and the strange thing here is all the people in this village are related to each other.all most every one in this village are literates.all are religious minded. it's nice to live in this village and many who live out f this village for their studies and jobs regret alot for they (we ) miss the joy of living in this village.
  • Good Village.
  • The Land Mark of Thurakapalem (Muppalla Mandal) is "St. Antony's Church which is seen from all around 20 Kms distance. It is the unity of Roman Catholics and Chowdaries except one or two families are Hindu's those who came from outside and settled. It welcomes all traditions and all religions. The village also saves the environment. Surely, once it will be a role model to all it surrounding villages in all aspects.
  • [MESSAGE FOR ALL OF THE VILLAGERS WHO STAY OUT OF THE COUNTRY AND OUT OF THE VILLAGE ] "Ye desamegina yendukalidina Ye peetamekkina yevvaremanina pogadara nee thalli thurakapalaanni(Changed a little bit) niluparaa nee jaathi nindu gouravam" Means: Don't forget your mother "Thuramkapalem", wherever you go. Praise the mother wherever you go. Please flag the rations respect and significance. Thanks & Regards, Chinna Dasari Thurakapalem
  • Request: Oh my God! Where are the trees around the village when I had seen in my childhood days. I enjoyed a lot 1.5 decades ago under the green trees and could hear the verieties of the birds sweet voices. I could feel the native village's loving touch of her environment. Now........ everthing disappeared except crows voices and dogs barking. Where is the Tamarind tree at pool of thurakapalem. Every person one who used to go to graze the cattle, takes rest under that tree. This seems over decorating the trees also causes to its damage. Please protect the environments of the villages and become the part of good citizen of good village. Thanks & Regards Chinna Dasari
  • I have observed very recently, Grameena Upaadi Pathakam is very useful for the people of Thurakapalem(Muppalla Mandal). Those who are poor, are getting the fruits of the sceme. Thurakapalem will be the role model to it's near by villages in all aspects. Warm Regards, Chinnaiah Dasari

  • Dear Reader, This is the day(31.10.2009) I found our village in news paper "EEnadu" in page No. 10(Main Paper) with the heading "Chivari Majileelu Siddam". Very recently I went to our village. I found something has been builded by some men in the Church grave yard. I did not bother about it on that time. But, After releasing the news to Eenadu, I could know that it is a grave of 6 members (5 person alive + 1 dead). It's a great thing but it is a real adventure to that family as they had already experienced serial deaths after keeping shells in the graves empty under the tamarind trees. Really, I appreciate their adventurous decision and preplan of their funerals. I also found their surname is mistakenly printed as Putti. It would be corrected as Pudota. I pray to god not to curse the family as before.

  • The list made by Fr.Kiran Dasari is really a hard task and also a good idea. Thank you for his patience, remembrance & hard work in listing the names of our villagers.
  • "Mighty belongs to Devinity here" My Dear Reader, The "Church" helps us for our living style. The "School" leads us to the knowledge and behavior. The "Canal" brings us a lot of water and keeps the village green. The "Roads" help us to transport. The "Field" feeds us and cattle. The "Trees" give us the good environment. The "Elders" arrange the paths for their Children. The "Children" stands for the elders hope. The "Graves" are the sweet memories of our ancestors. Got these many fruits from the village. Still something is missed. i.e. just your visit to our village and meet the home at least once in a year.
  • The Delhi government has decided to increase the security deposit for cutting a tree from Rs 1,000 to Rs 28,000. The state cabinet approved the changes on Wednesday. Chief minister Sheila Dikshit said she hoped it would discourage people from cutting trees unnecessarily. As of now, people who want to cut a tree are required to take permission and then deposit Rs 1,000 per tree as security money, which is refunded after they plant 10 trees for each one they cut. According to an environment department official, it costs nearly Rs 2,500 to plant one sapling and people prefer to forefeit the security deposit rather than planting 10 trees. Applicants wishing to cut a tree will now have to deposit Rs 28,000 as the security money and this will be split into two categories, said an official. " Half of it would be given to the forest department that will replant five of the 10 trees required to be planted. The remaining half would be refunded to the applicant after he plants the five trees," the official added. Dikshit said it was becoming difficult to ensure that the trees being cut were replaced as per the law. "Because of non- availability of land, meagre amount of security and the inadequacy of monitoring mechanism, it was becoming difficult to ensure compensatory plantation," she said. • I hope this will confort the families who lost their loved ones. The God's word the Bible says at John 5:28, 29 reads - 'Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.' Is that not comforting and very encouraging us all especially the one who is in deep grief. If you want a Guarantee here it is. This is a 'Guarantee' that all these things will take place on this earth very soon. The Bible provides the following assurance at Acts 17:29-31 reads - 'Seeing, therefore, that we are the progeny of God, we ought not to imagine that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, like something sculptured by the art and contrivance of man. True, God has overlooked the times of such ignorance, yet now he is telling mankind that they should all everywhere repent. Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he has resurrected him from the dead.”' You can read the Bible online at: http://www.watchtower.org/e/bible/index.htm You can also download the Bible and related material (including Kingdom songs) form the following site: http://www.jw.org/ You can find more related information at http://www.watchtower.org You can write me at Sunder_Raju@Yahoo.com

  • Hello Friends and Relatives, I have a request for our Village. Please think of a Community Hall in our Village. Now a days many are working outside the Village and when someone wants to Celebrate Marraige or other Ceremonies, we don't have a Certain place. I think it is right time for us to think and come farward to form a group of youngesters, that we can go farward with constraction of a Hall. The Church is Anthony Nagar or Gnanayya Nagar is almost completed and they have done it with donations from different people and it was really a wonderful work. Let us think of it in a same way that we can construct a Community Hall. Please write the comments on it and I am ready to take possitive and negative too. Yours Friendly, Kiran Dasari
