Frankston

A great place to live, to go to the beach, the Arts Centre, the movies, shop and go to the library.

Places to visit:

Wonderful wide beaches, Sweetwater Creek Reserve, George Pentland Botanical Gardens, Long Island Reserve, Frankston Pier, Olivers Hill, Kananook Creek Reserve, Foreshore Reserve, "Pint & Pickle".

Interesting facts:
Largest concentration of English and Scottish settlers in Australia (now second after Perth).
Was a beach resort town for many decades before incorporation into Metro Melbourne.

Dest. to be removed- too broad

Many people in Frankston are heroin users with the less than normal allocation of teeth.

This is Frankston 'C'entral 'B'usiness 'D'istrict.

Frankston the Suburb comprises a far greater area than this grid.

To the previous two comments; "Rack off", if you dont like it in Frankston! Keep your rude comments to yourselves.

They have a point. Maybe if you can't accept other peoples comments then maybe you should keep that to yourself.
By the way there is a cool wiki on the Mornington Peninsula including Frankston and all comments are welcome,, even truthful ones!

I love Frankston! Why would I want to live in some concrete jungle like Mulgrave or Box Hill. There is nothing in those boring places but some lousy Pokie joint and very little in the way of open spaces. At least we have a great Beach and friendly people. And at least people talk to you when you go for a walk not like those toffs from the Eastern Suburbs which is where I suspect all the negative comments come from!

Frankston. Nothing but bogans and crappy beaches. Best avoided.

Rubbish a.hole. Your the bogan with a name like that! You might actually enjoy the place if you opened your eyes a little. May be Frankston is to cultured for you.

It's really not that bad.
If you avoid the bad parts, it's really good.
Very convenient with the shopping centre, cinema's and beach so close together.
Everywhere has their bad spots.
So think about where you live before you bad mouth someone else's town.
Even though I don't live here, I like it.
