Twin Lakes Church began in 1891 and was known as the "Little Brown Church by the Sea." Situated in Twin Lakes between Schwann Lagoon and Woods Lagoon (now the Santa Cruz Harbor), this small congregation grew under the pastorate of Roy Kraft.
In the early 1970s, Twin Lakes Church moved to their present location near Cabrillo College. With modern and spacious facilities, the church grew significantly. Now, Pastor Rene Schlaepfer presents exciting and relevant messages using the latest tools in multimedia.
With the support of the church body, Twin Lakes underwent a major renovation of the main sanctuary building in 2000.
