Eastown is the cultural epicenter of Grand Rapids. Many notable businesses are found here (including Billy's, Fresh,Yesterdog, Wolfgang's and Kava House). Eastown is also one of the most desirable areas in GR to live, carrying many festivals throughout the summer, many of which play host to the area's finest in local music.
Eastown has one of the finest parks in Grand Rapids, offering a large area to run dogs, play frisbee, and play soccer.
Eastown is also one of the more diverse areas of GR. Everyone from the elderly to college kids comfortably call this place home.
