This is a village of beauty and brain together. History reveals the talents born, nurtured and brought fame to themselves as well as to the village. It's village preplanned like modern ones. The chain of houses are on both sides of the wide road. It is facilitated with water supply, telephone connection, many schools and wide concrete road within the village. I belong to the famous Dash Family. My ancestors came here about 150 years ago which has spread to 50 Dash families now. My greatgrandfather late Pandit Baidyanath Dash was one of the famous persons of his time. I like my village the most.
