Watch them. They've got a monopoly on alot of the bike shops around for repairs. Some repairs that they've done on my GF's bike have come to more than the bike's worth.

They should either warn you, or call you when they realise. But they didn't.

With regard to the above comment, I have found the opposite... they always let me know about changes to the original quote. And have advised straight up if the service is more than the bikes worth.

I would definately give my recommendation for this little quirky gem of a bike shop. My friends and I have always had services there, as their prices are very competitive. Plus, generally they get it done within a couple of days. (In the past, I have used places that take up to two weeks).

Recently, I went in, and found the old owner has retired, and passed the business onto the mechanic I usually deal with.... The guy knows what hes talking about!! Plus the place has got a lick of paint, and a whole lot of ideas to improve the service.

I would choose this place over any of the bigger or other local establishments.
