Bldg 102, AN/FPS-24 Radar Tower

The second production AN/FPS-24 antenna (one of 12 total, the first being at Point Arena AFS), it was a long range radar antenna used for range and bearing detection. Needed a height-finder radar to complete the range of information used. Most of these antennas were shut down once satellites started being used for the same thing.
