YBM English School (Seoul)

YBM is one of Korea's leading English teaching institutions. This building houses the schools Yeoungdeungpo facilities. The school employs English native speakers to perfect the Enlgish skills of its students. The teachers are typically from North America, though in recent years there has been a strong Irish and English presence at the school. Julie Choi was the supervisor of the native teachers. She ruled with a mixture of wit, sarcasm and feminine guile. At times she was driven to her wits end, although many suspected she took a perverse pleasure from the antics of her teachers, and probably encouraged their shenanigans at times. Without doubt the leading character amongst these vagabonds has been one Andrew House. He taught in the school for the best part of 5 years. Andrew was hugely dedicated to his job, and would often go the extra mile to satisfy his students. Indeed he has been known to hold impromptu, one on one sessions on the roof of the building in order to give his students the full benefit of his teachings.
The roof was also a popular haunt for James Carroll who enjoyed a sly smoke or two up there before class. If one looks closely at the picture one can probably make out donut wrappers strewn around the building. These are from Joanne. She loved her donuts. Other former teachers are ( in no particular order ) Stephen Porter, Paresh Ladd, Mark Kelly, Max Muznieks, David Shryvers,Daniel Argueta, Ashin, Adrian Speed, Tristan Burke. Please feel free to add to this list, Perhaps someone else can write a litte profile about each person. I'm going to add other famous places of note around the area. Such as Andy's house, that little soju bar the other side of the station, Jimmy's first apartment, etc
