This is village Thapli, Patti Patwalsuen, Post- Adwani, Dist Pauri, Uttrakhand, India. This village has produced Three Freedom fighters namely Captain Sh (Lt) Trilok Singh Rawat, Indian National Army, Lt sh Arjun Singh Patwal and Lt sh. JS Patwal.

Capt Trilok Singh Rawat was a Naib Subedar in Indian British Army and on the call of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose he deserted British army to join Indian National army as Captain and he trained the recruitees of Indian National Army beside fighting the war with British army. After independence he joined Rajasthan Armed Police and commanded a battalion of RAP and successfully encountered the Dacoit problem of Rajasthan border district along with Inspector General of Police Mr. Thakur Singh Negi. After retirement he spent his remaining life in this village.
