Kotzebue Air Force Station (site)

Former White Alice (WACS) communications station and intercept air base during the cold war from 1952 to 1984. Now the station serves only as a remotely-operated, unmanned North Warning System radar station. The obsolete Air Force buildings were razed in 1998.
