Kodinsk

Kodinsk, city district, is situated on the territory Kezhemskogo area 12 km from r.Angary, at a distance of 735 kilometers north-east of the regional center, the 264 km from the railway art. Karabula on the railway line from the Trans-Siberian Railway Reshoty - Karabula.
Founded in April 1977 as settlement construction Boguchanskaya HPP. The name comes from the village Kodinskaya Zaimka, which appeared in 1930, as a place of settlement spetspereselentsev. At the site Kodinskoy Zaimki was built temporary village gidrostroiteley. Permanent settlement called new town square, which is a small area that has been cleaned from the taiga and alignment of the dam is located on Boguchanskaya HPP 12 km. In 1978 Kodinskaya Zaimka converted into an urban type.
