Alviso Ghost Marina

The former Alviso Marina, now silted over and reeded in was the location for a thriving port for San Jose in the late 1800s. Once the San Francisco and San Jose Railroad was built, it essentially killed the need for a port in San Jose. It is now a park with hiking trails.
