International School Hamburg

People from many different counties live in Hamburg. In 2006, the 100th consulate opened. Except for New York City, Hamburg hosts more consulates than any other city.

To accommodate the needs of foreign parents living in Hamburg, the International School Hamburg was founded in 1957 as the first international school in Germany.

The International School offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) to it's students, which is now also accepted in Germany.

There are several International schools througout Germany, (Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Berlin) and also throughout Europe.
