  • I was a student at this school from 1962 to 1966. At that time, the Headmaster was a Mr. Beri. Some of the teachers that I can recall were Ratan Lal, Kishore Chand, Harish Chander, Kaushal Chand, Bansi Lal, Arjun Singh. Many others that I can visualise but can't remember their names. The education was good by the standards at the time, but looking back one always becomes more critical and selective. The emphasis was on learning by rote rather than any form of reasoning and if your memory was not too good you got punished rather than supported. Teachers were great and believed in discipline. The signs of slowness were often treated as signs of insolence and I often used to wonder why publish someone when they need help and support. May be things are different now.

  • I have the privilege of studying in this school during the year 1978 to 1981 . U used to cycle my way from mithapur road on the other side of model town to Patel chowk . I have the previlage of studying under Mr.Vijay Dheer the class teacher and many other RESPECTED teachers. Respected Ramesh Talwar was the principal and probably I was the only Tamil Speaking student in the school struggling to learn Punjabi as late as 9th standard.. Thanks to my teachers I learnt Punjabi so well that now I can read write and speak Punjabi like any of the other Punjabi... The school and the culture particularly the clean habits I learnt was of great help and now I am comfortably placed as Sr GM procurement and marketing in one of the indian multinational group of company in the state of Gujarat .. My heart felt thanks to all my school teachers and respected Pricipal Sh Ramesh Talwar ji for making me what I am today .. the school building use to have the life time slogan written in bold letter " TAMSO MA JYOTIRGAMYE" AS TO MA SADGAMYE" still keep me in the right Path ...   • Me and my brother Were student of 10 Th Class 1980-81 Session. It was the best school at that time in terms education - faculty- Economic. We were twins and quite prominent in schools. Recently reunion of around 30 Students has been made with the efforts of 4-5 students and a party is being hosted at Jalandhar after 37 Years which is phenomenal time gap.
