Fort Aquada, Bandra

The Bandra Fort, or, to give it its proper name, the Aguada Fort, was built by the Portuguese to guard against Arab pirate attacks, but was abandoned due to the conquest of the region by the Marathas. Today, the ruins are part of a municipal garden.
