  • KPMIM...is a college where i have learned a lot about life..even there is too much different during my time compared to today...but, in this college we actually close to each other where everyone is here to help, to listen..and we are just like a big family...even though there is a bad time..it's life dear...sometimes..it will make us to be stronger than before..learn it..and you will know...believe me...
  • If u think everything is bad, then u will get what u think of. At university, it is not sponsored like at KPM, u won't get allowance too (just study loans, which must be paid back). Granted life at the hostel is tough, but don't look at its face value. Meaning - try to think why are the wardens harsh at the boys? Is that because they like being like that, or for your own good? Maybe, just maybe, u were forced to go to KPM by ur parents. But are ur results good enough to go to other IPTA? maybe not. So, try to think that life at KPM is to prepare u for life later, maybe to IPTA, or even working life. Life is precious, don't waste it.

  • Hello there people. I am a 19 year old who's looking for a college to study in. I am interested to apply for DEC but before that I need to know from you KMPeans about how it is to be a KMPean. I am a free soul who does not like to be pushed, some of the above comments suggest that the place is 'prisonlike'. But most importantly I want to know the market value of a KMP DEC holder. Anyone got any idea?? Please. And I need to know about the fee too.

DIPLOMA IN ENGLISH COMMUNICATION or DEC is not for those who got lower SPM result!! its more better than ASASI or STPM!!! at least MARA help ORANG MELAYU!!!! for those y PANDAI sgt, juz dont waste ur time to kondem KPM.. YES, it may S**k but I REALLY LOVE KPMIM SO DAMN MUCH!!!
  • depends on how u want to look at it..to me being in this college have it's pros n cons...the same menu, a lot or rules, crappy internet service, but on the bright side u get paid to study, free accommodation, classes are within walking distance plus if u do well u might get a chance to study abroad under MARA sponsorship...so to me it's 3 yrs worth putting up with to be able to study in New Zealand afterwards...

It is obvious that you are in a dire need for some lessons in communication since the way you communicate is not up to par with the standards of people with education. I was in DEC, me and my friends are doing extremely well thank you.   • hi raifa, its great that you chose DEC. I am your super duper senior here n im currently a sales n communication consultant in an offshore company. Ill say that most of us seniors went into either mass comm, business, linguistics, education or marketing communications after completing DEC, and now working in various fields. Many were also sponsored abroad for degree. Ill say the negativity are mostly out of jealousy since DEC as comm students are usually the ones well known in an around KPMIM due to our loud crowd. No worries aite, all is good. you may feel a tad controlled at first but my advice is to keep urself busy with college activities, sports, clubs etc, 3 years will be moving on real fast. :)

  • I am graduated from DEC and now i'm working at the HQ of Malaysia's leading petroleum company( u know what it is).. Here, I met 11 people who's also graduated from DEC, KPMIM. We always talking about KPMIM. Frankly speaking, as a freedom town girl living in KL, I hate all the rules and regulations in KPMIM.. I also hate the lecturers.. And the curfew and the punishment and those monkeys?? Hell no.. But now, I feel grateful that I used to be there.. From a bitchy, now I already wearing HIJAB.. From a lazy person, now I can discipline myself.. And honestly, now I'm missing all about the place that used to hated so much.. To the lecturers I always yell and argue with, I am so sorry.. I didnt mean to.. I hope you can see me now and be proud of who I am now..
