A restored 1959 Hawker Hunter fighter jet Crashed into this house on July 16th, 2006 during the Hillsboro airshow. The owner of the house was not at home at the time of the crash. The pilot of the plane, a lawyer from California was unable to eject from the plane. The house was completely destroyed and the neighboring houses were damaged. This is only the 5th recorded plane crash in Hillsboro.
