Tompkins Housing Co-operative Inc.

A adult housing co-operative consisting of a new elevatored apartment building at the north end of the property and rehabilitated townhouses on the south end of the property. The apartment building features an innovative skip floor plan to allow some apartments to have both north and south windows.

The co-operative was named in honour of Father Jimmy Tompkins who with Father Moses Coady was an active leader in the Antognish co-operative movement in Nova Scotia during the first part of the 20th century.
