US Coast Guard Station St. Petersburg is a major station in the US Coast Guard's 7th District, and is the homeport for Sector Tampa-St. Petersburg, which oversees the operation of several bases and cutters which patrol an area from Tallahassee to Fort Meyers Beach out to the Florida Keys.
The Station functions as a Command Center for Planning, Response and Logistics and is homeport for several Small Boat units, cutters and an Aids to Navigation team.
