Washington-Slaagbai National Park

The rocky and mountainous northern section of Bonaire has been made into a national park which showcases the islands natural beauty and wildlife. This section of the island was once aloe plantations, many of which now grow wild in the park. The old export house at Boca Slagbaai is a picturesque spot. A popular place for birdwatchers, hikers and adventureous divers. All of the parks roads are unpaved and can get a little tricky after periods of heavy rain.
