Arguably suburban Cleveland's most elegant department store in the 1970s, this three-storied property boasted details such as gold-leaf, fine hardwood panelling, Mexican quarry tile, a windowed restaurant overlooking the greater Warrensville woods area, and extensive teak parquet flooring. All such niceties were destroyed to hack the shell into the down-market properties currently leasing the space, and Randall Park lost any claim to top-shelf status at its closing in 1992. |
