Welland Canal Flight Locks
Locks 4, 5 & 6 of the Welland Canal - These locks are twinned (unlike the rest of the locks on the Welland Canal) and provide much of the lift to allow ships to climb the Niagara Escarpment, thereby circumventing Niagara Falls.
Bridge #6 (Canadain National Railways dual Bascule bridge) is located at the bottom (north end) of these locks.
