Named after the legendary American football coach of the University of Texas, Austin college team of the 1960s and 1970s, this stadium serves as the field for play for home games for this team. The north end of the stadium is currently under construction and is scheduled for completion in 2008. This renovation will increase seating capacity to more than 90,000. The stadium is home to one of the larget high-definition video screens in the world, known as "Godzillatron."
