CMSP&P Rosalia Tunnel 42

The Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad mainline between Chicago and Seattle operated through this area from 1909 until 1980. The line originally included this tunnel, which was later daylighted due to unstable ground. Including the branch lines, there were a total of 64 tunnels on the Milwaukee Road, of which 8 remain in use.
