This Village belongs to Orissa, but 99% people are Telugu. 55% villagers are Yadab byaste and 40% villagers are reddy by caste and rest are other caste. by 2006 only 40% are educated, though it has a very big High School(Mahanta Sri Parankush Bidyapeetha, built on 1953) and a Collage(Bharat Pati Mahavidyalaya, built on 1972).As most of people are uneducated, easily affected by political partys and there is always quarrel between two groups. Now a days quarrel reduced a lot.
