"In September 2007, the Great Canadian Theatre Company (GCTC) celebrated its grand opening of two new theatre spaces, gallery and café and wine bar at Ottawa’s newest arts facility. The Irving Greenberg Theatre Centre, developed by Windmill Developments, is a gorgeous steel, cement and glass tower claiming the corner of Wellington and Holland in the beautiful Hintonburg/Wellington West District. It is a LEED gold-certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) “Green” building housing condos and the GCTC. The firm of Griffiths Rankin Cook was the architect, AECON Buildings Ottawa the builder, and Martin Conboy Lighting Design (MCLD) was the theatre consultant."
