Nose Hill

Public park, very hilly and grassy, a few stands of trees, some paths.

Watch oot for coyotes!
(and gopher-holes... they hurt to trip in)

According to the City of Calgary Parks department webpage, "Nose Hill Park is one of Canada's largest urban natural environment parks...and covers 11.27 square kilometers."

It's fun to ride your quad or car all over nose-hill, it's frowned upon slightly.

I really hope you're not serious about quads and cars. That's a seriously ignorant activity on Nose Hill.

It used to be done. My grandpa and uncles tell stories of getting stuck in ravines with their old truck about 20 years ago. I don't think that type of thing is still allowed. Now Nose Hill is just a nice place for a nature walk, and if you come at the right time the saskatoons are great!
