The people here are as good as they could have been.
The colony is a old structure of two four-storeyed towers and has a magnificient paking lot. At least the entrance is much relaxed compared to 'Gokul' or any of its neighbours.
Everyday between 4-7 p.m you may find youngsters of the neighbourhood chilling out at the very entrance of this building. In the evenings you will find the 'mamis'of the colony taking a stroll watching yound kids cycling around the block. At nights, this corner is normally occupied by drowsy watch men.
The residents' spirit can be observed in the way they celebrate festivals, or for that matter, even Independence day or the Republic day when they usually have their much adored 'Bada Khana'. |
