Embassy of Russian Federation

This is on one of the highest points in the entire DC area, and was the subject of much anger when it was built because the altitude gave the original owners - the Soviet Union (hisss . . . communists!!) a great vantage point from which to spy on the US government. Of course, all that concern melted away with the Soviet Union in the late 1980's and early 90's.
