This Church is the Convento do Pilar, built by the Fransiscan Capuchos from Arraon in Spain in 1613. It is now the mother house of the Society of Pilar. It is dedicated to OUr Lady of Pilar and is well known for the thousands of pilgrims who come there at the feet of Venerable Fr. Agnelo. Please correct the title

I think the Title must be corrected. It should read as "Pilar Monastery". This church is dedicated to Our Lady of Pilar. Hence the hillock got its name as "Pilar hill". It is a historical place overlooking the harbor at Vasco-da-Gama.
