There is action underway to move all shipping interests out of Downtown Nassau, creating a more centralized shipping zone on either Arawak Cay or southwestern New Providence. Either decision is meant to remove heavy plauging industrial traffic, polution and to facilitate the stages for the redevelopment and beautification of Downtown Nassau.
