The Chardon Fire Department, Inc. is a combination paid/volunteer incorporated fire department which serves the residents of the City of Chardon, Chardon Township, and Claridon Township. Providing 24-hour fire and Advanced Life Support EMS coverage to our residents, the department consists of 10 vehicles & over 45 members (4 full-timers). Working from one fire station on Chardon Square, our call volume is just under 1600 calls per year, with many of those being EMS oriented. The station is staffed by 5 Firefighter/Paramedics, 24 hours a day. Located in northern Geauga County, we are the busiest department in the county.
