The Ashram was setup by Swami Chinmayananda in around 1980.
There are lots of activities which keeps the Ashram busy such as festival celebration, youth camps, balvihar camps, regular weekly study and CHYK(Chinmaya Yuva Kendra, youth wing of Chinmaya Mission) classes.
The Ashram is on the Satellite Road. The opposite side is India's premier space institute ISRO.
