Ngoring Lake

Ngoring Lake located at the upper reaches of the Yellow River. It is a large fresh water lake in Qinghai Province. The Tibetan word of the lake means “ long blue lake”. The lake is 4,272 m above sea level, with a lake area of 610 square kilometres and average depth of 17.6 meters.
