| Sony Picutres Studio (Formerly MGM Studios) Formerly the great Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios, it was built by Thomas Ince in the early part of the 20th century. Ince merged with D.W. Griffith and Mack Sennett forming Triangle Studios. Subsequently owned by Cecil B. Demille, Samuel Goldwyn, and (as a result of mergers and acquisitions) MGM, then Lorimar Studios before being purchased by Sony. Category: production television movies studios
