The Town and Country Resort is San Diego’s largest privately owned Convention Center. It has 1,000 guestrooms and 250,000 square feet of meeting space.
Prior to the San Diego Convention Center, it was the largest convention space in San Diego. It's a bit tired, with a decidely 60's feel to it.
They recently got into trouble with the city after dumping hundreds of cubic feet of earth into the nearby San Diego River, after a parking lot improvement.
