Historic crossroad. Now intersection of N. Glebe Road and Wilson Boulvard. One of the oldest crossroads in Northern Virginia, dating from 1740 or earlier. Site of first development in Ballston, one of the first communities in Arlington. Adjacent to former sites of Ball's Tavern (for which Ballston is named) and Parkington Shopping Center.
