Two points - we live in Southampton:
1.The ferry and bus fares are extortionate when Red Funnel to the Isle of Wight - a much longer ferry crossing - will offer a fare of one car and four passengers (including the driver) for £32 return. Maybe the Largs-Cumbrae ferry runs too often?
2.Why does Millport seem to shut many of its facilities on Wednesdays (like 16th September) when there are people travelling to the island (like us)- though the Cathedral door was open it was closed and gave the appearance for partially disabled people on foot that it was shut. |
