Riparian forest below the dam is no longer accessible to birders due to Homeland Security regulations.
Nearest access is Chapeno which is the next community downstream.

dont go across to the mexican side and go down the dirt road to the left, theres a mexican army encampment there and they will arrest you, like they did me and dont you know that was fun so dont go birding on the mexican side of the dam at all!
