Well, as someone with familial ties to "Daria Mahal," I can assure you that the owners are not Parsi, they are Gujarati. The bungalow was built by my great grandfather Shri Maneklal Chinai. This, if you will, is the "House of Chinai." This property has appeared in many Bollywood films. | ||||

Yes, we, at Dabur, had shot an ad film here - Vatika Shampoo, with Rani Mukherjee. Had a great time - its a beautiful building with an amazing view on the west and the sea splashes noisily at high tide | ||||

Daria Mahal is a beautiful place, with kind and extremely hospitable owners. In fact, one of the owners introduced my parents to each other, in Ohio, of all places, more than 50 years ago. I find the people of Mumbai to be peaceful, hospitable and kind. | ||||
