Espaço Oscar Niemeyer - Oscar Niemeyer Area

Oscar Niemeyer Area is a architectural and cultural complex on the Plaza of the Three Powers. Oscar Niemeyer designed many buildings in Brasília like the National Congress, the Presidential palaces, ministries and the Cathedral of Brasília.

This museum was designed by Oscar Niemeyer in 1988, was built and equipped with the support of the Government of the Federal District, Foundation Banco do Brasil and Banco de Brasilia. The area is 433.26 sq metres, offers permanent displays of the work of the architect, which includes models, drawings, photographic panels, audiovisual, multimedia program and the digital catalogue of his work. It has a specialised library open to researchers, practitioners and students.
