Not to be confused with the military prison a few miles north. This is a civilian prison run by the US Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons. This prison was the largest maximum security prison in the United States until 2005. The walls are 40 feet high and 40 feet below ground.
The prison may be best known as the location Michael Vick was incarcerated.
