A city which is well known for Leather (Leather City). Previously Ambur was famous for making of bedi, now it is famous for making of leather shoes, sandal and chapel. Ambur is located in between Bangalore and Chennai. Ambur is famous for one more thing which is "Biryani", it taste delicious and spicy.

Yes, Indeed it was a perfect model town for muslims. But now its been changing cause of outsider muslims, who attracted for shoe unit jobs and settling down here. Still lovely town to live in. My father's birth place too. | ||||
