Saskatchewan Revenue Building

Saskatchewan Revenue Building (Regina)

The original portion of this building was constructed in 1914 for the Saskatchewan Co-op Elevator Company, which was founded in 1911 by Saskatchewan farmers to counter domination and discriminatory practices by privately owned grain elevator companies. By 1916, it had become the largest single grain elevator company in the world. After its consolidation with the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool in 1926, they vacated these premises.
