독도 Dok Do (Dok island)

No matter what Japanese saying at these days, Dok Do is belong to Korean peninsular for many thousand years. We have to recognized what human history saying are always correct. Once Japanese was big arms power during early century year 1900, they could make history by themselves and those stories made for themselves not those were real. We should correct now all of what Japanese Imperial made history wrong including name of Dok Do and where the Dok Do is belong to Korean peninsular.

So,Everyone can tell that Usando is never Liancourt Rock consist from Two main pinnacles with many small rocks,90km away from Ulleungdo, those historical evidence shows all.

Whao, by the link above I got to know why korean goverment refuse the offer by Japan to dispute in the International Court Of Justice, because those Koeran historical records shows Usando is Jukdo, and Small Usando,Seokdo is Gwamnundo on the map, even though Korean propaganda of Usando is Liancuort Rocks.

It is the reason South Korea refuse to dispute in International Court of Justice
,most peaceful and reasonable solution because they would lose in the court. There are many evidence Liancourt Rocks was not renounced territory of Japan and not Korean territory, in the Peace Treary in San Fransisco. By those process, Liancourt Rock was not listed up that Japan renounced of in the treaty.So they conclude Liancourt Rocks are territory of Japan.

What is the definition of a territory ? When a country occupies a certain area, it is their territory. If the occupation creates human rights problem or the act of invation creates international issues, UN or any international bodies might get involved to resolve the issue. However, this is not necessarily true if the area is economically uninteresting. We have lots of examples such as Kosovo, Chechenia, just to name a few.

Meanwhile, Japan invaded almost everywhere around the country around the 2nd world war. Japan claimed that all of those territories are Japan. US is not innocent from those invasions because US did have a secret treaty with Japan to keep their eyes closed while Japan is victimizing the whole Asia till the invasion of Pearl Harbour. (invasion of Pearl Harbour was not part of the secret treaty, of course)

Historical study based on documents and historical evidences is the scientific way of learning something from history and it is the only way that we accept as a resolution to any questions or disputes related to history. However, that doesn't work for Japan for the history with the countries around it.

One of the famous examples is found in Manchuria (north-eastern area of China). There is a big (size is always relative in this way though) monument describing the relationship between Korea and Japan. The monument is about 2000 years old. People in China, Korea, and Japan made paper copies of the monument. The paper copies are made in the way that a white paper is attached on the monument and ink is applied to the paper. Therefore, we could get almost photographic 1:1 copy of the monument long before any form of photography is invented.

Interesting fact is, the copy that has been made long ago and the recent copies are different and it is believed that the modifications are done by Japanese people to "justify" their invasion and occupation of Asia.

This is the 'scientific' proof that Japanese knew that they could manipulate the history. When Japan merged Korea in 1905 (the actual merge is done in 1910 but practically Japan's occupation started in 1905), it is 'told' that they burned materials related to the history for 100 days. '100 days' in China/Korea/Japan means a long period and does not mean much as the literal length of the period.

In this way, all the history related to Japan and Korea (and presumably Japan and any other countries including China although it is impossible to eradicate the historical evidences in China due to the vast size compared to Korea and the distributed nature of Chinese cultures) has been rewritten by Japanese people.

Since then, Korea did not exist for a long while till Japan was defeated in the 2nd world war and Korea got independence and divided as south and north part of Korea.

The eradication of historical materials for a period longer than 3 decades was very systematic and thorough and lots of national treasures have been carried out of Korean peninsula and they have never been returned. (Talking about stealing national treasures, Britain and France did a lot more. And nobody seems to feel ashamed for that. Probably such hubris could be an essential factor to become an empire)

We could hear that there was a long lasted fire to burn all the historical materials because we did have the old people who could tell the story long enough. But there's no written history any more other than the ones either does not contain anything about Japan and Korean history or the ones that has favorable contents for Japan.

Now we are looking for historical evidence that Dokdo or Takeshima is Korean territory ? Good Luck. If there were any, it would have been burnt. But the fact that the fishing people in Ulrung island have been using the islets for their shelters, remains. Do you think fishing people could leave written documents how long they have been using the island ? If you have such documents, you have to ask yourself, what value would it be for the people who actually wrote it, not to mention if you could have been educated enough to create such. Can you claim that the Galagagos does not belong to the giant tortoises in Galapagos just because they do not have historical written documents ?

Then would the occupation of Dokdo by Korea created any human rights related issues ? None. Would the invasion of Dokdo created any casualties either side ? None. No reason why international bodies would get involved in this dispute that only Japan creates. Korea has no reason to bring that to any international bodies while Dokdo IS undisputable Korean territory.

If Japan really thinks that this is Japanese territories, why Japan does not take it over ? Japanese military force is by far stronger than that of Korea although Japan never calls their military as military due to the peace constitution. (Simple comparison of # of soldiers would not make sense and you would already know that if you know something about military structures)

By the way, Japan has territorial disputes with just about every country around it. (with Russia, China, and Korea, and probably the ones that I am not aware of) When everybody else other than you are in the wrong way, you would think if there's a possibility that I am in the wrong way.

Typical Korean who don't face the fact, and spoiled by "Nationalsozialismus(Natizm)" with prejudice, they would cite Usando is Dokdo.（Dokdo Uridang) and Japan invade dokdo.
But this is false information by Korean goverment propaganda.Because Korean had ever controlled Liancourt rocks before 1952.

2.Big Usando（大于島） is JUKDO and Small Usando（小于島） is Gwaneumdo.

Jukdo (takeshima) is a very common name of an island in Japan. Claiming that Japan have owned takeshima does not necessarily mean that any island Japan names as takeshima is Japanese territory.

Meanwhile Japan has been 'pirates' in the vicinity of Japan for a long while. Korea have been easy prey of them. It is certainly possible that some Japanese pirates have been to dokdo. But that does not make dokdo part of Japan while then Japan was hardly a unified country.

Japan have never had any official opinion on dokdo other than the local municipal government's because this is an absurd claim.

If anyone have ever read Japanese math text books, you would have a better understanding why Japanese claims such absurd one and they think it is OK. Do you know pythagoras's theorem ?
